Dear Aikido Community,
We would like to bring you up to date regarding next year’s Summer Camp 2025. While we were in the planning stages for USAF Summer Camp 2025 and its return to the Seaview Hotel in Galloway, NJ, we were approached by New York Aikikai (NYA) with their idea of organizing a special camp to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the arrival of Yamada Sensei to the New York Aikikai in 1964. As you may recall, over the past decades summer camps have always commemorated this anniversary every ten years. However, with the passing of Yamada Sensei, the planning of this celebratory camp was delayed.
Because of this momentous occasion, the USAF has agreed for NYA to organize and host Summer Camp 2025 at the Seaview Hotel, and offers its full support. As such, NYA will be in touch with a “Save the Date” announcement and further details in the near future. We look forward to this celebratory camp and hope to see you there.
